Beyond the Veil

A film inspired by the abstract painting La danseuse by Lalan Xie, the artist reflects the connections between the real world and the imaginary world of the painting. The piece has been evolving through the creative process, from static to dynamic, from plane to three-dimensional. The creation is investigating death and reincarnation, presenting the imagination of the unknown world.

Hollow Landscape

In this work, the artist wants to convey his vision of loneliness. The work is a collage of different video footages of a dancer under a thin fabric, creating the fluctuating feeling of a dark place. He wants to use this visual form to allow the audience to experience the impermanent landscapes.
